Biography
George Karris joined Strategic Financial in the spring of 2024 after serving as head of business development with FSC Corporation and SVP of advisor engagement with Osaic (formerly Advisor Group). In these roles, he worked closely with Andrew and the team for several years before joining Strategic Financial full time.
George brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our team. His expertise in business development, client relationships, marketing, and operational efficiency will be instrumental in driving our mission forward and ensuring that we continue to build on and deliver the exceptional service our clients expect and deserve. He has over 30 years experience working in financial services and has held prior executive level roles with Nationwide, Allianz and Foresters Financial where he served as head of business operations and strategy.
His passion is in seeing clients truly connect and build genuine relationships with their trusted advisor and ultimately realizing their financial goals and dreams. He continues to be inspired by the impact great financial planners can have on families and takes pride helping advisors in whatever way possible deliver those outcomes for their clients.
In his free time, he enjoys live music, traveling to visit his kids at college and cheering on Florida State (Go Noles!) and Northwestern University (Go Cats!), finding great new local restaurants and (slowly) learning to play guitar.
George is a graduate of Washington University in St Louis with a BSBA in Business Administration with concentrations in Human Resources and Organizational Development. He holds his Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 licenses.
